The environment is full of power. You have to go as unbelievably low as -273 °C until every last bit of energy has been drained from it. With heat pumps, at least some of this natural energy can be harvested and used for DHW and central heating. These systems are still effective at outside temperatures as low as -20 °C. Calculated over a year, Nature will grant you around half of your normal heating costs.
